On September 17, 2006, the citizens of this great nation will again proudly salute the U.S. Constitution as the oldest national constitution still in existence and a milestone in the protection of our individual freedoms. Please prepare to join in the observance of this day on Monday, September 18, 2006, by having your students stand and recite the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution along with former Secretary of State General Colin Powell at 1 p.m.
