Talladega City Schools Pre-K Program

Hal Henderson is home of the Talladega City Schools Pre-K Program. Mrs. Angela Capers, a "highly qualified" teacher with exceptional talents, developed the program during the 2008-2009 academic year. Mrs. Karen Graves, a "highly qualified" paraprofessional, works collaboratively with the 2010-2011 teacher, Mrs. Patricia Cook, to continously move the program forward. Mrs. Cook was previously our State Department of Education Technical Assistant who evaluated our program. We have 18 students enrolled in Pre-K. I am also pleased to announce that our site has been recognized by the State Department of Education as "exemplary."

HAPPY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT'S DAY!!!!!

Mrs. Cristy Hannah, Administrative Assistant!

Cristy, we all hope you have a wonderful day! We appreciate your dedication to our school and our children. You are the heart of the team! We all thank you for the many phone calls you make on our behalf, thank you for being the nurse, thank you for your patience when dealing with each of our personalities, and thank you for the many hats you wear on a daily basis.

You are the smiling face we see first thing in the morning, the helpful person we find throughout the day, and the friendly farewell that makes our ride home pleasant and peaceful.

Although you are asked to complete many tasks throughout the day, you always do them with a smile on your face. What would we do without our very own "public relations" person? We are thankful for the many pictures you take of our events, the many posts you enter on our blog, and the many activities you participate in during and after the school day. You are the best!

We are fortunate to have such a talented individual on our team. The many banners you make for birthdays, events, activities, parties, etc. fill our hallways with love and cheer. You are always very thoughtful and full of ideas. We love you!

Cristy, I thank you for taking GOOD care of me. As principal, you have helped me to keep the wheels turning. I am so thankful that you are the person who greets our parents, community, and friends. I have had many people comment positively on your friendliness and your willingness to help. Just recently, Mr. Miller told me that many people had reported to him that the atmosphere at Hal Henderson was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you for always making our friends and family feel welcome!

Have a wonderful day! We love you, faculty and staff!
