THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
BEING POSITIVE AND UPBEAT IS A CHOICE WE MAKE!
Something to think about:
1. How would you describe the climate and culture in your classroom and school? Would it be positive and upbeat? Why or why not?
2. Think about this statement, "The attitudes and behaviors of the student body most often reflect the attitudes and behaviors of adults in the school."
3. What techniques do you use in your classroom to reinforce positive, upbeat student behaviors?
4. What factors give negativity a foothold in a classroom or school?

Thank you faculty and staff for coming together as a team to supply refreshments for the Board of Education meeting at our school Monday night. The food was delicious and the decorations were perfect! Thanks Mrs. Barksdale for organizing the entire project. All of you are wonderful!

Our Pre-K students are enjoying a wonderful new environment. If you have an opportunity to stick your head in the door, please do so. Thanks Mrs. Capers for all you have done to make this program successful. The students seem to be well adjusted and I know you are seeing great progress.
I am proud to annouce that we will be purchasing two additional seats for the swings with the money we received through Computers for Education last school year. Mr. Berry has agreed to pick the seats up from Lowe's. Hopefully, this will complete our set.
