Talladega City Schools Pre-K Program

Hal Henderson is home of the Talladega City Schools Pre-K Program. Mrs. Angela Capers, a "highly qualified" teacher with exceptional talents, developed the program during the 2008-2009 academic year. Mrs. Karen Graves, a "highly qualified" paraprofessional, works collaboratively with the 2010-2011 teacher, Mrs. Patricia Cook, to continously move the program forward. Mrs. Cook was previously our State Department of Education Technical Assistant who evaluated our program. We have 18 students enrolled in Pre-K. I am also pleased to announce that our site has been recognized by the State Department of Education as "exemplary."

HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER!

Thanks to all of you for another wonderful year! I hope you have an eventful and restful summer break!

As soon as I receive SAT/ARMT results, I will post the "GREAT NEWS" on our blog. Stay tuned to Hal's blog over the summer for news, updates, and celebrations.

If you have any information you would like to be included in our "blog" news, please e-mail Cristy or me.

Again, thanks for your dedication throughout the school year. Awards Day and both graduations were wonderful this week! I appreciate your diligence in getting end-of-year items taken care of in a timely manner.

A special thanks for your kindness in "taking care of me" during this time of extra weight and misery. The end result will be worth it all, and I will let you know when baby "Grer" decides to make his entrance.

You are all very special people! Enjoy your break.
