I HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE WELL RESTED AND HAD PLENTY OF GOOD FOOD DURING THE HOLIDAYS. WE HAVE ONLY 3 WEEKS AND 3 DAYS LEFT UNTIL CHRISTMAS BREAK. USE YOUR TIME WISELY - AS YOU KNOW, AFTER CHRISTMAS - IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE - WE WILL BE ADMINISTERING SPRING TESTS. YOU HAVE ALL WORKED VERY HARD THIS FIRST SEMESTER AND I KNOW WE WILL SEE GREAT RESULTS. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND CONTINUE TO PUSH OUR STUDENTS TO DO THEIR VERY BEST. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK!
"ARE YOU EXPECTING ENOUGH FROM YOUR VERY BEST STUDENTS?"
Something to think about....
1. Always remember that "All students can be lead to higher levels of performance."
2. Identify traits you appreciate and admire in your very best students.
3. What role do expectations play in measuring students' academic gains?
4. Think of ways you and students can take to enable them to move to an uncharted level of performance.
5. What criteria can be used to assess the degree of value you are adding to students' educational experience?
